Thrilling and evocative, with moments of pure pleasure, "Hereafter" is a sensation you won't want to miss.

Okay before I begin. I went to Highschool with the author of this book and I am telling all of you now that I did NOT give her 5 stars because of that reason. You must read it to find out why I did give her 5 stars... On to review...
O...M...G... Total awesome story. I could NOT put the book down so, ya'll know me, I read it in about 5 hours. Total different approach to the paranormal romances. Completely original thinking and a fantastic working into the "Hereafter". Lead characters are interesting and mysterious and absolutely beautifully described. The story line held my attention till the end. Incredible characters (bad guys and good guys) I am itching to get my hands on her next in the series...June....... And would make an AMAZING MOVIE!!! Now all that said...Amazing Job Tara!!!!! (Sorry it took me so long to read it)

"Moon Called" by Patricia Briggs

*****
Werewolves can be dangerous if you get in their way, but they'll leave you alone if you are careful. They are very good at hiding their natures from the human population, but I'm not human. I know them when I meet them, and they know me, too.

Mercy Thompson's sexy next-door neighbor is a werewolf.

She's tinkering with a VW bus at her mechanic shop that happens to belong to a vampire.

But then, Mercy Thompson is not exactly normal herself ... and her connection to the world of things that go bump in the night is about to get her into a whole lot of trouble.

Okay I officially have another author that I love. Patricia Briggs writes amazing!!! Mercy is me....sort-of. I love her attitude and how trouble finds her. She is officially one of my favorite characters. Whats up with the vamp? Hot or Not? And her neighbour???? Poor Mercy, but man is she a bad ass!!!!! Anyway this book is a MUST READ. I love love loved it and I am dying to get my hands on more Patricia Briggs books!!!

"Key of Valor" by Nora Roberts (Key Trilogy Book 3)

****
Zoe had eaten in this dining room before, with its soaring ceilings and roaring fire. She knew how lovely everything looked under the lights of the chandeliers and the glow of candles.

But this time, she knew without a doubt the way the evening would end. It wouldn't be a matter of a lottery. It wouldn't be the luck of the draw.

Both Malory and Dana had taken their turns. She helped them. She knew she'd contributed ideas, support, even comfort. But when push came to shove, she understood the burden had been on each of them, in their turn. In the end, both Malory and Dana had to reach deep inside themselves every bit a much as they'd had to reach for the tangible key.

Now it was her burden, her risk. Her chance.

She had to be brave enough, smart enough, strong enough, or everything they'd done before her would be for nothing.

OMG. Zoe's book was the totally best. She is so adorible, strong. What a great ending to a trilogy of amazing books. I dont like to give away anything in my reviews, but I do and will always comment on fab books. "Key of Knowledge" by Nora Roberts (Key Trilogy Book 2)

****
Even with all Dana had seen and done, with all she'd been a part of over the last four weeks, it was hard to believe she was stretched out in the backseat of her mother's car, heading back up the steep winding road to the great stone house of Warrior's Peak. And what waited for her there.

It wasn't storming, as it had been on her first trip to the Peak, after receiving that intriguing invitation for "cocktails and conversation" from Rowena and Pitte, an invitation that had gone out to only two other women. And she wasn't alone. And this time, she thought, she knew exactly what she was in for.

Idly, she opened the notebook she'd brought along and read the summary she'd written of the story she'd heard on her first visit to Warrior's Peak.

Each daughter, demi-goddess, has a specific talent or gift. One is art, or beauty, the other is knowledge or truth, the third is courage or valor. A spell is cast on the daughters. The daughters' souls are stolen, locked in a glass box, known as the Box of Souls, which can only be opened by three keys turned by human hands. If the quest is completed, the Box of Souls will be opened and The Daughters of Glass freed. And the three women would have a cool one million dollars each.

An interesting story, Dana mused, until you understood it wasn't a story but a fact. Until you understood you were one of the three women who had the means to unlock the Box of Souls. Then it just got weird...

Yes Just as I thought. Dana...I love love love her character...Stubbern...lol. Pitte Yummmmm. Yes quite yum. Its hard to drool over a character in a book...YET how well Nora describes the characters...i was quite drooling.....I am again patiently freaking out so i can grab the next book and get to town...I bet I can finish it in less than a day....SHhhhh took me 7 hours on this baby. Grats Nora, A MUST READ!!!!!

"Key of Light" by Nora Roberts (Key Trilogy Book One)

****
The pleasure of your company is desired for cocktails and conversation. 8pm, 4th September. Warrior's Peak.

When Malory Price is issued with the above invitation she is naturally suspicious. But with her overdraft at crisis limit and on the verge of losing her job, she has little to lose by attending the event.

Only Malory is about to get more than she bargained for. At Warrior's Peak she finds that she and two other women are the only guests of their mysterious hosts. They are told an amazing story of magic, gods and goddesses; and of three demi-goddesses who have been cast into an eternal sleep, their mortal souls placed under lock and key. And in every generation, three women are born who alone have the power to free them - if they are prepared to accept the challenge...

Holy Wow. Was not expecting the story to go that far in depth. I am in love with Warrior's Peak. I want it as my home, only I want it in Ireland.....Yes....Anyway. The story line is awesome and it leaves you drooling and itching to grab book two. Which is waiting patiently for me to finish this review. I loved it, I loved the characters and I thought I was a fantastic read. Key of Light is a MUST READ...Loved it!!! Man, my heart was pounding so loud...

****
From the creators of the bestselling "Knit Your Own Dog" comes the highly anticipated follow-up, with easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for 16 distinct knitted felines.

I always wanted to knit, but I never learned. However, my best friend, Michelle, knits beautifully and so I passed this amazing book on to her and she has had the time of her life knitting these cats. I am guessing that her daughter will become the new owner of each one of the cats, but she and I both loved this book. (me looking through the pictures and Michelle knitting them)

"Unclean Spirits" by M.L.N. Hanover (The Black Sun's Daughter book One)

****

When her uncle Eric is murdered, Jayné travels to Denver to settle his estate, only to learn that it's all hers -- and vaster than she ever imagined. Jayné finds it difficult to believe magic and demons can even exist, let alone be responsible for the death of her uncle. Aided in her mission by a group of unlikely companions -- Aubrey, Eric's devastatingly attractive assistant; Ex, a former Jesuit with a lethal agenda; Midian, a two-hundred-year-old man who claims to be under a curse from Randolph Coin himself; and Chogyi Jake, a self-styled Buddhist with mystical abilities -- Jayné finds that her new reality is not only unexpected, but often unexplainable. "Mortal Ghost" by l. lee lowe

**
It's a fiery hot summer, and sixteen-year-old Jesse Wright is on the run. An oddly gifted boy, he arrives in a new city where the direction of his life is about to change. He's hungry and lonely and desperate - and beset by visions of a stranger who is being brutally tortured. And then there are Jesse's own memories of a fire ...

No offense. I got completely lost at least a dozen times. No idea what was going on most of the time. Not the greatest writing shown in this book. I tried for two weeks to read this and I can read a book a day if I put my mind to it. Way too confusing and Im saddened to say I could NOT finish it... So another bad review...so sorry.

"Tears of the Moon" by Nora Roberts (Gallaghers of Ardmore / Irish Trilogy #2)

****
A talented songwriter, Shawn Gallagher spends his days lost in reverie and wonder, oblivious to the wiles of women and the ways of the world. He claims that he's content with his life, but his music tells a different story—one of loneliness and desperate longing.

No one understands why Shawn doesn't put his musical gift to profitable use—least of all Brenna O'Toole, a fiercely independent tomboy who has been secretly in love with him for years. But it is only when Shawn gives in to the mysteries of magic that he gets the chance to fulfill his destiny as a man and a musician—as the song in his head keeps time with the beating of a woman's heart.

Brenna is so me its not funny!!!!! She is a tough little irishwoman. She works for what she wants and if she doesnt get it she works harder...Shawn...so so so sexy. Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors. She writes well, Books are alot of fun to read, plus the stories are addicting. The Tears of the Moon...((insert sigh and mushy eyes)). So in love with the main characters, captures another piece of Ireland. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

"The Iron Knight" by Julie Kagawa (The Iron Fey book 4)

*****
Ash, former prince of the Winter Court, gave up everything. His title, his home, even his vow of loyalty. All for a girl… and all for nothing.

Unless he can earn a soul.

To cold, emotionless faery prince Ash, love was a weakness for mortals and fools. His own love had died a horrible death, killing any gentler feelings the Winter prince might have had. Or so he thought.

Then Meghan Chase—a half human, half fey slip of a girl— smashed through his barricades, binding him to her irrevocably with his oath to be her knight. And when all of Faery nearly fell to the Iron fey, she severed their bond to save his life. Meghan is now the Iron Queen, ruler of a realm where no Winter or Summer fey can survive.

With the (unwelcome) company of his archrival, Summer Court prankster Puck, and the infuriating cait sith Grimalkin, Ash begins a journey he is bound to see through to its end— a quest to find a way to honor his solemn vow to stand by Meghan’s side.

To survive in the Iron realm, Ash must have a soul and a mortal body. But the tests he must face to earn these things are impossible. At least, no one has ever passed to tell the tale.

And then Ash learns something that changes everything. A truth that turns reality upside down, challenges his darkest beliefs and shows him that, sometimes, it takes more than courage to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Wow....all I have to say is wow... It was awesome from Ash's point of view. A very scary journey to the end of everything...Lots of action, horror(really) and the love story and what he would do for Meghan melts my heart. Puck was funny and you gotta love how everyone(bad and good) comes together. Totally loved it and I WANT MORE (insert pouty face...) Again, an easy read, amazing job to the author and I am totally going to go get her new stuff!!!!!

"The Iron Queen" by Julie Kagawa (The Iron Fey book 3)

*****
My name is Meghan Chase.
I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.
This time, there will be no turning back.

Oh poor Meghan...The Iron Fey are awesome...in a way...lol. Kind of creepy...Oh but Ash...Sexy Mysterious, Dangerous Ash...I love how Julie Kagawa has created these characters, So far amazing story lines, amazing characters, very simple and easy to read, a very addicting group of books!!!!!

"The Iron Daughter" by Julie Kagawa (The Iron Fey book 2)

*****
Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey—ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her.
Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.

Heart stops...beat beat.....OMG. First off the ending!!! Ash???(insert drool and puppy dog eyes here) yum!!! The Winter Queen makes me want to pull my hair out....BI%$#...just sayin.... Meghans journey through this book is fantastic and heartbreaking at the same time.....HAVE TO MOVE ON TO BOOK THREE!!! NOW!!! lol. Again awesome job to Julie Kagawa!!!!!

"The Iron King" by Julie Kagawa (The Iron Fey book one)

*****
Meghan Chase has a secret destiny; one she could never have imagined.

Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan's life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school or at home.

When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she's known is about to change.

But she could never have guessed the truth - that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war. Now Meghan will learn just how far she'll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil no faery creature dare face; and to find love with a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart.

I totally and completely LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!! Holy crap, Puck...my type of joker. Meghan is an amazing character and so like I was at that age...Well minus being a faery.....High Five to Julie Kagawa, you are an amazing author and I want to read everything you write. Very easy to read, action, evil, good, and some extremely HAWT characters!!!!!!
